Author Thomas H. Fehring presents the incredible stories behind the many men and women--from all walks of life--who stepped up and proudly worked toward a common goal during World War II. Milwaukee was one of the principal industrial centers of the United States that produced munitions for the war effort. Area companies also produced goods for the troops engaged in the war.
