The Battle of Okinawa (April 1 – June 23, 1945) was the largest sea-air-land battle in history and the last major battle of the preatomic era. Both sides regarded it as a dress rehearsal for an invasion of Japan proper.

Ages 8-12: It’s potion-making meets science in this Librarian-led event. Kids will mix ingredients and learn about the reactions and properties they exhibit.
